She’s won the Academy of Country Music’s Top New Female Vocalist Award and Country Music Association’s Horizon Award. Suzy won the GRAMMY for Best Traditional Folk Album in 2005 for Beautiful Dreamer: The Songs of Stephen Foster. She’s performed on shows such as Austin City Limits, The Tonight Show with Jay Leno, Live with Regis and Kelly, and The View, and is a frequent guest on National Public Radio’s A Prairie Home Companion with Garrison Keillor. In 2011, Suzy released her American Folk Songbook, a 17-song CD and hardcover book with stories and sheet music, that is available online and at Cracker Barrel Old Country Stores.
